Brent Clough is a Civil and Geotechnical Engineer with extensive experience in the field. Brent began working at Beca from July 2001 to April 2004, where Brent obtained Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status. Subsequently, at Riley Consultants Ltd from January 2011 to April 2014, Brent served as Senior Geotechnical Engineer, managing the company's involvement in the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Project. Brent then took on the role of Principal Geotechnical Engineer, also fulfilling supplementary positions such as Project Lead, Christchurch Geotechnical Team Leader, and Christchurch Office Manager. Currently, Brent serves as Geotechnical and Engineering Geology Practice Lead at Stantec, beginning in June 2023. Brent holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
