David McGibbon, PE, PMP, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in highway design and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Principal and Business Center Practice Leader at Stantec since January 2023, David previously held roles including Associate Vice President and Senior Project Manager at AECOM, and Vice President and Senior Engineering Manager at WSP USA. With a notable tenure at Illinois Tollway as Chief of Engineering for Program Implementation, David also contributed significantly at WSP USA over a 12-year period. Earlier career positions included Principal Engineer at MACTEC and Senior Engineer at Parsons Brinckerhoff, after starting as a Design Engineer at Louis Berger International. David earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of the West of Scotland in 1995.
