Diego Castro Parnin

Diego Castro Parnin currently serves as the Social and Heritage Area Leader and Social Area Professional at Stantec since July 2022. Previously, Diego worked as an Advisor at Transelec S.A. from August 2020 to June 2022, where responsibilities included operational and strategic support in community relations and participation in project bids and risk matrices. Diego's consulting experience spans various roles, including independent consultant positions focused on community characterization for indigenous groups and environmental impact assessments. Notably, past positions include significant contributions to mining projects at Stantec and previous engagements with companies such as MWH Global and TECO Natural Resource Group. Diego holds a degree in Social Anthropology from Universidad de Chile, earned between 2003 and 2009.
