Gareth Brown

Gareth Brown is an experienced professional in development economics, currently serving as Director and Senior Associate at Stantec since September 2022. Prior to this role, Gareth held the position of Principal Economic Consultant for Buildings and Cities at Mott MacDonald from February 2021 to September 2022. Previously, a range of positions in various organizations, including Associate Director and Principal Consultant for Economics and Development at AECOM from January 2015 to February 2021, and Senior Regeneration Consultant at URS Corporation from January 2013 to January 2015, allowed Gareth to build a strong foundation in economic consultancy. Early career experiences include roles at the Centre for Local Economic Strategies, Manchester City Council, Sheffield City Council, and the Learning and Skills Council of Greater Manchester. Gareth holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography from Coventry University, earned between 1998 and 2002.
