Jose Luis B. Lopez

Jose Luis (Joey) B. Lopez, P.Eng., LC, NFPA CFPE, serves as the Electrical Engineering Team Lead for Stantec, leading a team of nine professionals to deliver complex Electrical Engineering projects in civic and industrial facilities. Previous roles include Associate at Introba, where leadership extended to various industries, and Team Lead at Morrison Hershfield, overseeing evaluations and designs for existing and new buildings. Joey's early career featured significant contributions as an Electrical Project Engineer at MCW Consultants Ltd, a Junior Electrical Designer, and an intern at Schlumberger, alongside leadership and coordination roles during educational pursuits at the University of British Columbia and various student organizations. Educational qualifications include a BASc in Engineering Physics from the University of British Columbia and a DiplT in Plastics Engineering Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
