Kevin Walsh

Kevin Walsh is a Principal at Stantec, where expertise lies in streamlined environmental permitting and project delivery for transportation projects, particularly in accordance with NEPA and MEPA regulations. Prior roles include Project Manager at Volpe, The National Transportation Systems Center, overseeing significant environmental projects for the California High Speed Rail Authority and the Federal Highway Administration. As Director of Environmental Services at MassDOT, Kevin led a multi-disciplinary team to secure environmental clearances for a billion-dollar construction program and implemented strategies to expedite review processes. Previous positions at MassDOT included Deputy Director of Environmental Services and Supervisor of Project Development, focusing on environmental compliance and management of major transportation projects. Kevin holds a B.A. in Environmental Design from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
