Matt James is a seasoned professional in water resources planning and hydrology, currently serving as Technical Director at Stantec since February 2017. With a strong background in water resources modeling utilizing software such as Aquator, Pywr, and Miser, Matt supports clients in the development and management of water resources. Previous roles include Principal Hydrologist providing planning solutions, and Water Resources Specialist at Thames Water, specializing in modeling within the Water Resources Analysis Team. Matt’s expertise also encompasses extensive experience at MWH Global, where responsibilities spanned from Lead Hydrologist to Senior Hydrologist, and earlier at Peter Brett Associates as a Hydrologist. Matt holds a Master of Science degree in Water Resources Engineering from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Southampton.
