Stephen Brown possesses over 30 years of expertise in Dam Safety, Design, and Rehabilitation. Currently serving as Regional Sector Lead at Stantec since February 2018, Stephen is an experienced PFMA participant and facilitator. Previously, Stephen held significant roles at Kleinfelder as Senior Technical Lead for WaterPower & Dams and at GEI Consultants, Inc. as Program Manager for Dams Services. Stephen also contributed to CH2M as a Project Geotechnical Engineer and began the career at Earth Tech. Educational qualifications include a Master of Applied Science in Geotechnical Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Long Beach. Specialties include Geotechnical Engineering, In-Situ Testing, Seepage Controls, and Slope Stabilization.
