David Harley

Lead Project Counsel - Hydrogen at Stanwell

David Harley has a strong background in corporate finance and projects, with extensive experience as a Partner and Senior Associate in various law firms. David began their career at McCullough Robertson as a Solicitor in Corporate Finance from 1996 to 1997. David then worked at Herbert Smith as a Solicitor in Corporate Finance from 1998 to 1999. In 2000, they joined Mallesons Stephen Jaques as a Solicitor in Corporate until 2003, when they transitioned to become a Senior Associate in Corporate & Projects until 2007. From 2007 to 2020, David worked at DLA Piper, where they served in various roles, including Senior Legal Consultant in Finance & Projects, and later as a Partner in Finance & Projects. In 2020, they joined Holding Redlich as a Partner until 2023. Currently, they are employed as the Lead Project Counsel for Hydrogen at Stanwell Corporation Limited.

David Harley attended Brisbane Grammar School from 1983 to 1987. David then enrolled at The University of Queensland in 1988 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from 1988 to 1993. Additionally, in 1999, they completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment at the Financial Securities Institute of Australasia.
