Eyale Teshager, CPA, has diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Eyale started their career as a Student Assistant/Administrator at Mercyhurst University, where they provided administrative support and managed event-related activities in the Performing Arts Center. Eyale also assisted with payroll data analysis.

Eyale then worked as a Kitchen Hand at Parkhurst Dining, ensuring food and beverage preparation adhered to hygiene and safety protocols. Eyale also assisted with opening and closing activities.

Eyale continued their academic journey and became a Student Assistant in the Computer Laboratory at Mercyhurst University. Here, Eyale assisted students with computer operations and equipment use, and performed opening and closing duties.

In their role as a Front Desk Supervisor in the Department of Residence Life & Student Conduct at Mercyhurst University, Eyale supervised front desk operations.

Moving into the professional world, Eyale gained experience as a Tax Intern at Australian Taxation Accountants, where they worked on tax-related tasks.

Eyale then joined Vincents as a Graduate Accountant in Assurance and Risk Advisory, specializing in superannuation (SMSF) advisory. Eyale later transitioned to the role of Auditor in Assurance & Risk Advisory.

At EY, Eyale held multiple roles, starting as an Assurance Associate, where they contributed to various audit engagements, before being promoted to Senior Associate. In this role, they played a more significant role in client interactions and engagement management.

Currently, Eyale is working at Stanwell Corporation Limited as an Energy Trader Analyst in Physical Markets, where they analyze energy trading activities.

Eyale also served as a member of the QLD Young Professionals Committee - CPA Australia, where they contributed as a part of the QLD Young Professionals Network Committee.

Eyale Teshager, CPA completed a Master's degree in Accounting at Griffith University from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, Eyale participated in the CPA Australia Program from 2017 to 2018, earning the title of Certified Practising Accountant (CPA). Before pursuing a master's degree, Eyale obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Finance and Computer Systems with a minor in Accounting from Mercyhurst University, which was completed from 2010 to 2015. In terms of additional certifications, Eyale earned the "Data Analysis Essentials Using Excel" certification from Udemy Academy in June 2021. Eyale also became an Associate Member (ASA) of CPA Australia in February 2017. Eyale's notable achievements include receiving the Dickfos Dunn Adam Postgraduate Auditing Prize for Best Performer in Corporate Auditing, the High Achiever award for the highest grade in Corporate Auditing, the High Achiever award for the highest grade in Ethics & Governance, the High Achiever award for the highest grade in Income Tax Law, and the Lutz Associates Postgraduate Prize for Best Performer in Income Tax Law, all received from Griffith University. Additionally, Eyale achieved excellent results on the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) with 5 A's and 2 B's, awarded by Cambridge Assessment International Education in January 2010. Finally, Eyale is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through CPA Australia.
