Kyle Christie has a diverse work experience starting from 2007 to the present. Kyle currently works as a Commercial Project Specialist at Stanwell Corporation Limited since November 2021. Prior to this, they were a Graduate Student at The University of Queensland from May 2020 to June 2022. During this time, they worked on various projects including utility energy storage technology evaluation, energy auditing, asset evaluation, and strategy reports for carbon capture and storage industry development and low-carbon aviation policy. Kyle also won the Water and Energy System Design Challenge and was awarded the Dean's commendation for academic excellence.
Before their time at the university, Kyle worked at Deloitte Canada, where they held various roles. From March 2017 to June 2020, they worked as a Resource Evaluation & Advisory, managing reserve and resource reports and conducting due diligence for corporate reporting and expert witness litigation. From January 2014 to March 2017, they managed a lead advisory engagement and feasibility study in Australia. In 2013, they briefly held a managerial position, and from 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Evaluations Engineer. Prior to Deloitte, Kyle worked as an Evaluations Engineer at AJM Petroleum Consultants from February 2007 to July 2011.
Kyle Christie's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled in Mount Royal College. However, no degree or field of study is provided for this period. In 2003, they joined the University of Alberta and pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Petroleum Engineering, completing the degree in 2006.
