Matthew Fautua

Matthew Fautua has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Matthew worked as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Stanwell Corporation Limited since 2016. Prior to that, they had various roles at Suncorp Group. Matthew was a Team Leader in Risk Methodology Market Risk, where they developed and deployed market risk models and had a deep understanding of APRA regulatory standards. Matthew also served as a Team Leader in Credit Risk Analytics, managing a team of three analysts and working on credit rating systems. Matthew started their career at Suncorp as a Credit Risk Analyst, focusing on retail and SME scorecard building and validation. Matthew also worked as a Portfolio Strategy Analyst during their tenure at Suncorp.

Matthew Fautua's education history begins in 1995 when they attended TAFE NSW and completed a Diploma in Accounting, which they obtained in 1996. Following this, from 1998 to 1999, they attended Griffith University and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in the field of Bachelor Commerce. Later, from 2001 to 2003, they pursued a Master of Applied Finance at Macquarie University. Most recently, from 2020 to 2022, Matthew enrolled at the Australian Institute of Business and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance.
