Michael Wilkes

Michael Wilkes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michael started their career at IBM as a Subject Matter Expert from November 2007 to March 2010. After that, they worked at Real Community Services as an Acquired Brain Injury Support Worker from December 2010 to January 2014.

In 2014, Michael joined Brisbane City Council, where they held multiple positions, including Category Specialist in Construction, Operations, and Maintenance (January 2014 to December 2015), Senior Financial Analyst (February 2017 to May 2017), Strategic Sourcing Specialist (October 2015 to October 2017), and Senior ICT Category Specialist (October 2017 to July 2019).

From August 2019 to June 2021, Michael worked at Coronado Global Resources Inc. as a Category Specialist. Currently, they are employed at Stanwell Corporation Limited as an ICT Procurement Lead, starting from July 2021.

Michael Wilkes completed their education at Griffith University. In 2013, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Economics from Griffith University. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2013, they pursued a Double Degree Bachelor of Commerce & Bachelor of Politics, Asian Studies and International Relations. During this time, they specialized in International Relations and their major was Economics.
