Qian C. Zhu, PhD has extensive work experience in various quantitative and data-driven roles. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Measurement Institute of Australia, where they maintained and developed RF & microwave measurement standards, provided calibration services, and conducted research projects. Qian C. expanded the measurement capabilities and established a traceability scheme for network analyzer calibrations. From 2014 to 2016, Qian worked as a Client Coordinator at the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia, where they assessed the technical competence of calibration and testing laboratories and gained industry insight and stakeholder engagement skills. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Radio Frequency Design Engineer at CommScope, designing base station antennas and resolving measurement issues for optimized performance. Qian then joined Foresight Analytics as a Data Science Consultant (Contract) from 2019 to 2020, where they provided data-driven reporting and solutions to institutional investors and wealth advisory firms, leveraging statistical models, machine learning, and data visualization for risk and performance analysis. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at AAAQuants as a Senior Quantitative Analyst, designing and improving quantitative models and methodologies to minimize market risks, overseeing risk modeling using advanced analytical techniques and machine learning. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Quantitative Analyst at Stanwell Corporation Limited.

Qian C. Zhu, PhD, pursued higher education in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. From 2001 to 2004, Qian C. Zhu attended The University of Auckland, obtaining a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree. Following this, from 2005 to 2009, Qian C. Zhu continued their studies at The University of Auckland and successfully completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
