Saranga Wettasinghe

Saranga Wettasinghe is an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer currently working at the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) since March 2023, specifically at the Kelanitissa Combined Cycle Power Station 2. Wettasinghe has extensive experience with Sojitz Kelanitissa Pvt. Ltd. from January 2012 to the present, where responsibilities have included planning and performing preventive maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment in the power plant. Additionally, Wettasinghe has served as a Plant Engineer, overseeing the operation of a 163MW combined cycle power plant. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, earned from March 2007 to December 2011.
