Brian Shickluna

Brian Shickluna, P. Eng., PMP, Agile PM has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the software development and technology industry. Brian has held positions at reputable companies such as Staples Canada, Cineplex Digital Media, Oxford Properties Group, CIBC, Critical Path, and DocSpace.

At Staples Canada, Brian served as the Director of Software Engineering, leading teams across multiple digital products. During their time at Cineplex Digital Media, they held the position of Director, Software Development - Engineering, where they were responsible for various aspects, including architecture, custom software development, innovation, and DOOH solutions. Brian also played a key role in designing and configuring a new cloud-based project management system for the entire engineering department.

While at Oxford Properties Group, Brian served as the Director, Enterprise Applications, and made significant contributions to the organization by improving processes and modernizing application portfolios. Brian played a pivotal role in establishing Agile software development practices, building a Salesforce department, and implementing data analytics solutions.

At CIBC, Brian held several leadership positions, including Director, Corporate & Financial Management Solutions, Director, Corporate Services Applications and Project Management Office, Director, Infrastructure Integration - Distribution Channel Technology, and Director, Application Control and Support - Shared Support. Brian began their career at Critical Path, where they worked as a Technical Project Manager and later took on roles as Manager and Team Lead in Software QA Engineering. Brian also gained experience as an Application Performance Specialist (Java Developer) at DocSpace.
