Rachel Huckle

Rachel Huckle has extensive work experience in the retail and healthcare industries. Rachel currently holds the position of President and Chief Operating Officer at Staples Canada, a role they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Retail Officer at Staples Canada from July 2019 to October 2022.

Previously, Rachel worked at The North West Company as a Director on the Board of Directors since September 2022.

Before joining Staples Canada, Rachel held various positions at Loblaw Companies Limited and Shoppers Drug Mart. At Loblaw, they served as the Senior Vice President for the Market Division - Centre of Store from January 2019 to July 2019. At Shoppers Drug Mart, they held the role of Senior Vice President, Health and Wellness from May 2017 to January 2019 and Vice President, Category Management from March 2017 to February 2018. Rachel also held the position of Vice President, Enterprise Loyalty and Customer Management at Loblaw from June 2016 to March 2017.

Between 2006 and 2016, Rachel worked at Shoppers Drug Mart, where they held various roles including Vice President, Operations; Senior Director, Operations; District Manager; Manager Front Store Performance, National Operations; and Store Systems Coordinator.

Rachel Huckle completed their Master of Finance degree at Smith School of Business at Queen's University from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management from 2015 to 2017. In 2014, they also completed the Initiative for Women in Business, specifically the Judy Project, at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
