Tyler Bishop has worked in various roles in the engineering and medical fields since 2013. Tyler began as a Research Assistant at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in 2013, where they gained valuable leadership and technical skills. In 2015, they worked as a Co-Op for the Advanced Molecular Imaging Team at Philips Healthcare, where they verified testing of detection methods for the Vereos PET scanner and documented novel detection methods used in testing and PET detector assembly. Also in 2015, they worked as a Biomedical Electronics Technician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where they completed preventative maintenance and repairs on patient monitoring, physical therapy, pumps, dialysis equipment and other medical devices. In 2017, they worked as a Development Engineer at Zimmer Biomet, where they remediated design history files (DHF) for knee mechanical implants and surgical instruments for total knee revision arthroplasty following the design control process. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Validation Engineer at Tosoh Bioscience, Inc. and Verista. Currently, they are a Validation Engineer at STAQ PHARMA.

Tyler Bishop attended Gahanna Lincoln High School from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained their high school degree. Tyler then attended The Ohio State University from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
