Kelsey Carlson is a seasoned designer currently serving as a Senior Designer at myBackyardStudio since November 2020, where the focus is on designing and installing innovative accessory dwelling units aimed at creating alternative living and work-from-home solutions. Kelsey has also held the position of Senior Designer at STAR since August 2011, contributing to the development of memorable branded experiences. Previous experience includes a Design Intern role at nParallel in 2010 and serving as a Peer Academic Advisor at Bemidji State University from August 2008 to May 2009, providing tutorial services and facilitating student relationships. Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Science in Design Technology with a minor in Visual Arts from Bemidji State University, completed in 2011, following an education at Forest Lake Senior High School.
