Jaimie Kim is a highly experienced writer and editor with a background in journalism and event coordination. With roles at various publications and organizations such as Midweek, Hawaii Publishers Association, Metro, and Honolulu Star-Advertiser, Jaimie has honed their skills in writing, editing, and managing editorial teams. Additionally, Jaimie has experience as a veterinary assistant and managed a team of editors and writers at Ka Leo O Hawai`i. Jaimie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and American Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser is the largest daily newspaper in the U.S. state of Hawaiʻi. It was formed from the merger of The Honolulu Advertiser and The Honolulu Star-Bulletin into a single entity June 7, 2010. It is the flagship product of Oahu Publications, Inc. which owns a diverse group of publications, including MidWeek, three militarypapers and various specialty publications, as well as luxury and hotel magazines. The Star-Advertiser is headquartered in Honolulu and it's state-of-the-art Roland offset printing press is housed in a 147,000 square-foot production and distribution facilities in Kapolei.
