Simran Singh Tiwana has a diverse work experience in various industries. Starting with NXP acquires Freescale Semiconductor as a Design Intern, they worked in TSPG, tasked with debugging two Freescale Chip designs. Simran Singh then joined Tata Teleservices Ltd as an Engineer in Transmission & Networks, ensuring serviceability of all BTS in the network. After that, they worked at OSS Air Management Pvt. Ltd., where they started as Manager Operations and later became a Captain, piloting the Agusta 109 helicopter in hilly and pan India areas. Simran Singh then joined Aerotech Aviation India Pvt Ltd as Captain & Dy. Chief of Flight Safety, where they flew the Agusta A109 helicopter in day and night IFR conditions. At GHODAWAT ENTERPRISES PRIVATE LIMITED, Simran held multiple roles, including COO & Director Flight Operations, responsible for P&L and business development, charter sales, and aircraft purchase and lease. Simran Singh also served as the Chief Pilot, overseeing fleet induction, operations management, and regulatory compliance. Currently, Simran is the CEO of STAR AIR, leading their most cherished project.

Simran Singh Tiwana's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, which was obtained from 2004 to 2008. In 2013, Simran took an online offering called "An Introduction to Financial Accounting" from The Wharton School, focusing on financial accounting fundamentals. Simran then pursued further education in 2022 at the Indian School of Business, completing the India Executive Prestige Programme in Digital Transformation and Leadership. Additionally, in 2008, Simran obtained certifications as an FAA Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor from Mauna Loa Helicopters. The education history is supplemented by various certifications, such as TRI EC-135 from the Director General of Civil Aviation in August 2021 and Check Pilot EC-135 from the Director General of Civil Aviation India in September 2019, among others.
