Yashasvi Rai

Yashasvi Rai has extensive experience in commercial aviation, currently serving as a Captain at Star Air since October 2022, piloting the E-170/190 and ensuring the safety of aircraft, passengers, crew, and cargo. Previously, Yashasvi was part of the first batch of pilots on the Embraer 175, working as a Senior First Officer and participating in DGCA CAP3300 exercises. Yashasvi's aviation career began with Spicejet Limited in September 2016 as a Trainee First Officer on the DHC-8 (Bombardier Q400), accumulating over 3000 flight hours and achieving promotion to Senior First Officer after obtaining an ICAO ATPL. Yashasvi holds a Commercial Pilot Licence from Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi, completed in June 2015.
