Matt Geist

Matt Geist is an experienced financial executive with a history of serving as Chief Financial Officer at multiple banks, including Star Bank in Minnesota since July 2020, Stearns Bank from July 2009 to May 2019, Flagship Bank in 2007-2008, and Excel Bank from 2000 to 2007. Prior to these roles, Matt Geist held positions in compliance and internal audit at First Minnetonka City Bank from 1993 to 2000 and served as Vice President - Controller at Excel Bank. Educational qualifications include a degree from the University of Wisconsin, attended from 1988 to 1993, along with foundational education at Hopkins High School.
