José Carlos Ferreira de Moraes

José Carlos Ferreira de Moraes has extensive work experience in the cruise industry. José Carlos started their career in 1995 at Costa Crociere S.p.A., where they held various roles as an Animator, chief animator, and international host. During their time there, they were responsible for planning and executing special events, coordinating onboard entertainment programs, and managing public and social relations. José Carlos worked on various routes and ships in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, and South America. In 2008, José joined Iberocruceros as a Cruise Director, overseeing the organization and coordination of the entertainment department and training staff members across a variety of activities. After leaving Iberocruceros in 2010, they worked at Top Service Incentive Travel & Events as an International Guide until 2018. At that point, they joined Paul Gauguin Cruises as a Cruise Director, managing a team of around 40 staff members and coordinating entertainment programs. In 2022, José joined Star Clippers as a Cruise Director, responsible for organizing and coordinating the entertainment department on board the ship. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong organizational and leadership skills in managing schedules, meetings, events, trainings, and activities to ensure an exceptional onboard experience for guests.

José Carlos Ferreira de Moraes completed their Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc degree in Diploma at FEFISA from 1992 to 1995. During the same time, they also pursued a Post-Graduate in Pilates and Physical Conditioning at FEFISA.

In addition to their formal education, José Carlos Ferreira de Moraes obtained a certification in STWC from Marinha do Brasil in November 2017.
