Luann Brechbill has extensive experience in leadership roles within organizations focused on providing services to individuals with disabilities. Currently serving as the Executive Director at Star Community since October 2019, Luann successfully secured $1.5M in grants during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to this role, Luann worked as the Regional Director of IDD Services at Merakey and significantly reduced staff vacancies while overseeing recruitment and training. As the Director of Residential Services at Vista Adult Services, Luann collaborated with stakeholders for strategic planning and departmental oversight. Beginning at Keystone Autism Services as a Behavioral Health Specialist, Luann advanced to Chief Operating Officer, developing an all-inclusive service model for adults on the autism spectrum. Additional experience includes directing special education at Vision Quest and work as a Behavior Health Specialist at Merakey. Luann holds a Master of Science in Special Education and Teaching, a Master of Education in Educational Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
