Marcos Pichardo

Marcos Pichardo has extensive experience in systems integration, development services, and database administration. Marcos has worked at Star Gas Partners, L.P. as a Director of Systems Integrations & Development Services since January 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Manager of Systems Integration and Development Services from July 2014 to December 2017. Marcos also worked as a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) at Star Gas Partners, L.P. from May 2006 to July 2014, where they were responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining critical systems. Before joining Star Gas Partners, L.P., Marcos worked at Thomson Reuters as a Sybase DBA, handling performance, tuning, recovery, and planning for mission-critical database servers.

Marcos Pichardo pursued their education in a systematic manner, with a strong focus on information technology and engineering. In 1988, they enrolled at the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo and completed their degree in Systems Engineering in 1993. After gaining a solid foundation in the field, Marcos took a break and decided to further enhance their knowledge by pursuing a graduate degree. From 2001 to 2002, they studied Information Technology at New York University, allowing him to gain specialized skills in this area. By following this educational path, Marcos demonstrated their commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the fields of systems and information technology.
