Srikanth Varanasi

Srikanth Varanasi currently serves as the Business Head and Senior Vice President for Group Insurance and International Business at Star Health and Allied Insurance Co. Ltd since March 2024. Prior to this role, Srikanth held various positions at ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited from November 2017 to March 2024, including leading the International Business and overseeing the Retail Health and SME Business sectors. Between July 2010 and November 2017, Srikanth worked at SBI General Insurance as the Regional Channel Head for Broking, Banca, and Direct lines. Previous experience also includes a tenure at ICICI Lombard as Territory Manager and various roles in sales and business development at MetLife India and Hughes Escorts Communications. Srikanth holds an Executive MBA from the Indian School of Business and has completed executive education programs at Wharton and London Business School, complementing an academic background in General Management and Marketing from AMC and a B.Com (Hons) from Osmania University.
