Ed MacHado

Ed Machado serves as the Information Security and Privacy Officer/Senior Information Security Manager at Star One Credit Union since April 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing a comprehensive Information Security Program and directing projects to address evolving threats. Prior to this role, Ed was the Information Security Officer and VP of Information Systems at CommonWealth Central CU from 2010 to April 2016, playing a key role in strategic planning in collaboration with executive leadership. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Santa Clara University and a Master’s degree from the University of Phoenix.
