Greg Kirkwood

Greg Kirkwood is a highly experienced Senior Design Engineer at Star Refrigeration since April 2018, previously holding the title of Mechanical Design Engineer. Prior to this role, Greg served as a Mechanical/Project Engineer at Trident Engineering Consultants from October 2016 to April 2018, focusing on fuel distribution and fire system design for aviation fuel storage and marine offloading systems, while conducting stress analysis in compliance with ASME and PD5500 standards. Earlier in Greg's career, from October 2012 to May 2016, a position as a Mechanical Engineer at Aker Solutions involved applying engineering codes and principles for pressurized systems and structures, performing design and integrity assessments, and collaborating with clients to enhance system performance. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University, completed in 2012, and graduated from Bearsden Academy in 2008.
