John Clark

John Clark has a diverse work experience in the engineering industry. John started their career as a Student Engineer at Spie Matthew Hall, where they assisted the project manager on building sites, focused on project management and procurement. John then worked as a Student Engineer at NCR Corporation, learning 3D CAD and creating models for 3D printing and CNC machining. Following this, they joined Star Refrigeration as a Student Engineer, specializing in design and system modeling for industrial contracts. At Star Refrigeration, they progressed to become a Design Engineer, managing detailed design calculations, drawings, procurement, and project management for industrial contracts. John later transitioned to a Consultant role, where they carried out traditional consultancy work, including specifications for tender and technical projects. John also played a major role in developing the Ethos service, a data-driven energy management solution. Currently, John is the Director of Star Data Analytics, where they continue to develop and enhance the Ethos service using their expertise in C#.

John Clark attended the University of Strathclyde from 2005 to 2010, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In September 2022, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org.
