Michael Brown

Michael Brown is an experienced refrigeration engineer currently employed at Star Refrigeration since August 2015. Prior to this role, Michael served as a technical process operator at General Mills for a brief period in 2014 and volunteered at Help Exchange from March 2012 to September 2014. Michael's professional background also includes significant service in the Royal Navy, where roles included leading marine engineer and marine engineering artificer apprentice from February 2005 to March 2012. Academic qualifications include an Engineer's Degree in Marine Systems Engineering from the University of Portsmouth (2006-2009) and ongoing studies towards a Master of Engineering in Cyber Security at the University of the West of Scotland, as well as a Bachelor of Science with honors in Mathematics and Computer Science through The Open University, started in 2018.
