Carmen van Casteren

Carmen van Casteren is an experienced HR professional currently serving as HR Manager and CHRO at Star-shl since July 2025, where responsibilities include HR management and strategic leadership. Previously, Carmen held the position of Senior HR Director EMEA at Lamb Weston from December 2023 to February 2025, overseeing HR activities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, while successfully negotiating a collective bargaining agreement and managing organizational restructuring. From April 2015 to December 2023, Carmen served as Director of HR & Communication at Albert Schweitzer ziekenhuis, responsible for HR and communication activities. Prior roles include Director of HRM at TweeSteden ziekenhuis and Director of HRM & Communication at ROC Da Vinci College. Carmen holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Radboud University and completed VWO at Onze Lieve Vrouwe Lyceum.
