Sanjay Banerjee

Sanjay Banerjee is an experienced broadcaster and commentator with a diverse background in sports media. Since November 2015, Sanjay has worked as a freelance broadcaster and as a Hindi sports commentator for Star Sports since June 2015. With a career that began in March 1987 at All India Radio, Sanjay has covered major international events including the Olympics, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, and various World Cups across multiple sports. Additionally, Sanjay provided Hindi commentary for NBA games with the National Basketball Association from April 2016 to June 2018 and served as a sports commentator for significant events like the Asian Games and Tokyo Olympics with Sony Pictures Entertainment. Past roles include Network Sports Editor at Sahara India TV Network and a Broadcast Specialist at NHK, Japan Broadcasting Corporation. Sanjay holds postgraduate degrees in Sociology and Human Resources Management, along with a degree in Journalism from Magadh University.
