Frank Bi has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Frank started their career at FanSided.com as a Conference Director and went on to become the Editor-In-Chief of the community website Gold and Gopher. Frank then worked as a News Developer at PBS NewsHour and as a Data Journalist at Forbes. Later, they joined Vox Media, LLC, where they held positions as an Editorial Engineer, Senior Editorial Engineer, and Senior Storytelling Lead. At Fordham University, they worked as an Adjunct Professor, teaching data literacy, visualization, and communications. Currently, they are the Senior Vice President and Training Director at the Asian American Journalists Association, where they have also served as the President of the New York Chapter. Frank's most recent role is Director of Tools & Technology at Star Tribune. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated skills in leadership, curriculum development, storytelling, and technology integration in newsrooms.
Frank Bi obtained a B.A. degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, graduating in 2013.
