Noor Adwan

Noor Adwan is an experienced journalism professional currently serving as the Opinion Audience Editor and Copyeditor at The Minnesota Star Tribune since February 2024. Prior to this role, Noor worked as an Op-Ed Producer at the Star Tribune from June 2023 to November 2023 and served as the Opinions Editor at Minnesota Daily from August 2021 to April 2023, where editing duties included overseeing five columns weekly and providing guidance to columnists. As an Opinion Columnist, Noor produced weekly pieces targeting a college audience, utilizing journalistic storytelling. Additional experience includes an internship with Mizna, focusing on coordinating sponsorship for the Twin Cities Arab Film Festival, and reporting for Sahan Journal, addressing issues pertinent to immigrant communities in Minnesota. Noor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Minnesota, obtained in 2023.
