Richard Chin

Richard Chin is an experienced writer with a diverse background in journalism and feature writing. Since February 2017, Richard has been a feature and magazine writer at Star Tribune, following a lengthy tenure as a staff writer at St. Paul Pioneer Press from September 1987 to February 2017, where Richard produced innovative content across various topics. Additionally, Richard has been a freelance writer for esteemed publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Smithsonian.com, and AdventureCats.org since January 2000, focusing on provocative feature stories. Richard's expertise in curation was showcased as a guest curator for a skyscraper exhibit at the Smallest Museum in St. Paul in April 2016. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and International Relations from Stanford University and completed the Knight Journalism Fellowship at Stanford University.
