Rob Hubbard

Rob Hubbard is a versatile writer and critic with extensive experience in the arts and government sectors. Currently serving as a Theater Critic for the St. Paul Pioneer Press and a Classical Music Writer for the Star Tribune, Rob has contributed to the vibrant cultural landscape of the Twin Cities. Additionally, Rob covers Minnesota state government for Session Daily, focusing on taxes, energy and climate, and higher education. Previous roles include Correspondent for Gramophone Magazine and Independent Writer and Editor since 2009, alongside a long tenure as an Arts and Music Writer at the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Rob's background also includes work as an Associate Producer for American Public Media's "Performance Today." Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with minors in Political Science and Philosophy from Augsburg University.
