Dr Rakesh Moyal

Dr. Rakesh Moyal currently serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Alternate Channel & Distribution Operations at Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Limited since July 2021. Previously, Dr. Moyal held various senior roles at IndiaFirst Life from March 2008 to June 2021, including Senior Vice President and Head of Business Operations, where responsibilities encompassed strategic projects, change management, and digital transformation, along with oversight of operational risk and compliance. Additional roles included Vice President positions managing customer service, claims, financial operations, and business excellence. Dr. Moyal's earlier experience includes positions at Munich Re, Kotak Life Insurance, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Health India TPA Services, and an internship at a government hospital. Dr. Moyal earned a BAMS degree in Medicine from the University of Mumbai, graduating in 2003.
