David Cotton

David brings aboard a very unique skill set to Starboard. Raised in his father's Cotton Realty in the City and Marin, he also became the State Diving Champion for the College of Marin, earning a full athletic scholarship to Pepperdine University. Competing in Springboard and Platform events for over 45 years, he amassed 45 National and 14 World Gold Medals. David's been involved in Real Estate in Hawaii and California since the '80s, in Business Brokerage, Leasing, Property Management, Development, and Sales. He's been a CA Licensed General Building Contractor since '94. In 2004 he took over his family founded Motor Vehicle Towing and Storage business, juggling Law Enforcement Rotation, Private Property Towing, Vehicle Lien Sales, and Industrial Leasing for his company until 2018. David's fierce tenacity, common sense, and "Been there-Done that" expertise are why clients choose to keep him near. David's other interests include Blues music, Vintage Cars, Cycling, Unicycling, Snowboarding, and giving back as a High School Diving Coach and FINA-USA Certified Diving Judge.
