David Chiang

Business Leader & Director, Operations, Latin America & Caribbean at Starbucks

David Chiang is the current Business Leader & Director of Operations for Starbucks in Latin America & the Caribbean. Prior to this, they served as the Director of International Marketing, Business Development & Strategy for Dr Pepper Snapple Group from October 2015 to June 2017. In this role, they were responsible for providing strategic marketing direction to international marketing teams, bottlers, distributor partners and all advertisement, promotion and digital agencies in various international markets. Chiang also drove the strategic development and market execution of integrated global and regional marketing programs for major brands such as 7UP, Sunkist, Canada Dry, Snapple, Mott’s and Hawaiian Punch.

From June 2012 to October 2015, Chiang served as the Regional Marketing Manager for KFC Latin America & Caribbean for Yum! Restaurants International. And from June 2010 to June 2012, they were the Global Marketing Manager for Pizza Hut International also with Yum! Restaurants International. Chiang began their career with PepsiCo in February 2009 as the Marketing Manager for Quaker Innovation before moving on to their role with Yum! Restaurants International.

David Chiang has a MBA in Marketing from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, a BS in Advertising from Instituto Peruano de Publicidad, and a BS in Business from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. David also has a certification from IDEO in Design Thinking - Insights for Innovation.
