Luis Garcia

Luis Garcia, MBA, B.Eng., currently serves as Vice President of Supply Chain Operations at Starbucks since July 2024. Prior to this role, Luis held the position of Vice President Supply Chain at Mevotech from March 2022 to July 2024 and Vice President Integrated Supply Chain at Sobeys from April 2020 to August 2021, managing critical logistics and supply chain strategies. With extensive experience at Gay Lea Foods as Vice President Supply Chain and in various roles at PepsiCo, COINPRO, Vengas, and Empresas Polar, Luis has demonstrated leadership in supply chain management, continuous improvement, and operations. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and a B.Eng. in Production Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar, supplemented by specialized certifications in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
