Steven Asplund

Steven Asplund is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in information security and risk management. Currently serving as Director of Information Security at Starbucks since January 2018, Steven leads Governance, Risk & Compliance teams. Prior to this role, Steven held various positions at KPMG US, specializing in cyber security capability development and RSA Archer solution design, along with numerous roles at Starbucks focused on data risk security, process improvement, and IT governance. Steven's earlier experience includes serving as Command Ombudsman for the US Navy and an Operations Engineer at Lockheed Martin. Steven holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from the University of Washington.
