Avital Vilkin

Avital Vilkin is an experienced professional in operations and business development, currently serving as Director of Operations And Business Development at Starburst since January 2020. Responsibilities include managing the IAI Innovation Center, an accelerator for early-stage projects within the aerospace and defense sector. Prior experience includes roles as Innovation Community Co-leader in the Israel Defence Forces, Head of Community and Innovation for the Israeli Air Force, and Partnerships Manager at IS-CL, where collaboration and community development among innovators were key focuses. Avital also founded the Story Tellers Community, supporting IDF soldiers in their innovative endeavors. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Economics at Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Psychology at Universität Innsbruck, Avital combines academic insights with a strong background in managing projects and fostering innovation in high-stakes environments.
