Anu Sudarsan

Anu Sudarsan is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer and Co-founder at Starburst since November 2017, focusing on the enterprise-ready distribution and support of Trino, an open-source distributed SQL query engine designed for efficient analytic queries across substantial data sources. Prior to this role, Anu contributed as a Senior Software Engineer at Teradata from July 2014 to October 2017, working on the open-source query engine Presto and related projects. Anu's experience also includes a tenure at Hadapt, where as a Software Engineer from January 2011 to June 2014, involvement in the development of the query engine for the HadoopDB project occurred. The career began at Infosys from July 2006 to October 2008 as a Software Engineer. Anu holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Kerala, completed in 2006.
