Shane Dizer

Shane Dizer is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in security engineering and cloud operations. Currently serving as the Security Engineering Manager and Cloud Ops Manager at Starburst since February 2022, Shane previously held the role of Director of IT & Ops at Vision Government Solutions, Inc. Shane's earlier positions include Manager of Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Architect at Platform9 Systems, and Sr. Network Engineer at Synopsys Inc. In these roles, Shane has demonstrated expertise in managing customer-facing SaaS hybrid cloud infrastructures, leveraging Agile project management methodologies, and implementing scalable and secure cloud architectures. Shane's technical proficiency encompasses Kubernetes, automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform, as well as networking with Cisco and Palo Alto technologies. Shane holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Southern New Hampshire University.
