Ritesh Chauhan BSC Hons, DIP PFS, IMC

Ritesh Chauhan has a diverse range of work experience in the finance industry. Ritesh currently works as a Product Manager for Compliance Product Star IAR and Star T&C at StarCompliance, where they have continued their role after the acquisition of Pentana Compliance. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the development, commercial, marketing, and growth of the compliance software. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Manager for Pentana Compliance at Ideagen Plc, where they were responsible for implementing changes to the product based on regulatory developments and improving its usability. Ritesh has also worked as an Adviser at Sensée, an Investment Risk and Framework Consultant at Protiviti UK, and a Police Information Compliance Officer at Cafcass. Additionally, Ritesh has experience in compliance and risk management roles at Mattioli Woods plc, Ultra Financial Services Limited, Phoenix Group, Aon, and Sun Life Financial of Canada (UK). In these positions, they have been involved in tasks such as overseeing risk registers, conducting compliance monitoring reviews, and providing guidance and coaching to junior staff.

Ritesh Chauhan obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honors (BSc Hons) in Business Economics and Finance from Loughborough University, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Ritesh also holds a Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS) from the Chartered Insurance Institute, specializing in G10, G20, and G70. Additionally, Ritesh has earned the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) from the UK Society of Investment Professionals. In terms of additional certifications, they have completed the Financial Planning Certificate (FPC) from the Chartered Insurance Institute in August 2004 and Product Management Foundations from Mind the Product in July 2021.
