Le My

Le My has extensive work experience in the technology industry, beginning with a role as DirectTalk/6000 Database Team Leader at IBM in 1988. In 1993, Le My became an Oracle Applications Technical Consultant at Oracle. After that, Le My worked at Sun Microsystems from 1994 to 2000, first as a Parallel Database Performance Engineer - MPK12, then as a Sr. Staff Engineer. In 2000, Le My became a Technical Marketing Manager, Porting, Performance at Turbolinux. From 2001 to 2013, Le My was Manager, Performance Engineer at 3PAR, Storage Architect at Charles Schwab, and Test Engineer at Wellex Corporation. In 2014, Le My obtained an MBA from DeVry University, and in 2005 founded and became CEO of Starfish Enterprise, LLC, a company that focuses on supercomputer in hand-held devices in cloud computing.

Le My has an extensive education history, beginning in 1966 with a Baccalaureate II from Lasan Taberd. In 1974, they earned a BSIE from Texas Tech University in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing. From 1977 to 1979, they attended The Ohio State University, earning a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering (M.S.I.S.E). Le My then attended Stanford University from 1980 to 1982, taking Graduate Classes for their PhD program in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. From 1983 to 1986, they attended Texas Tech University, earning a PhD ABD in Industrial Engineering and Robotics. Finally, from 1987 to 1990, they attended both Stanford and Texas Tech, earning a PhD Program in Robotics and an IBM's Resident Study ProgramM.S in Industrial Engineering and Industrial and System Engineering. Additionally, Le My holds two certifications: Certified In Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from American Production Control and Inventory (APIC) obtained in June 2001 and Professional Engineer in the State of California from the Board of Registered Professional Engineers obtained in September 1983.
