Scott Phillips

Founder & CEO at StarFish Medical

Scott Phillips has over 30 years of work experience in various roles in the medical, technology, and engineering industries. Scott started their career as an Engineer at Moli Energy in 1989 and later worked as a Contract Engineer at Ametek Western Research and Sonigistix. In 1999, they became the President of StarFish Medical, where they still hold the position. In 2009, they became the CEO of ViVitro Labs Inc. and also served as a member of the UBC Biomedical Engineering industry advisory committee. Scott has also held various board roles at Entrepreneurs Organization - Vancouver Island Chapter and served as the Chairman of the Board at VIATeC. In 2019, they became the Chair of the Board of Directors at LifeSciences BC. Additionally, they were a member of the regional advisory committee at Junior Achievement of BC.

Scott Phillips received their bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from The University of British Columbia between the years 1983 and 1989.
