Eiji Shibata

Eiji Shibata is a Satellite Systems Engineer at Starfish Space, involved in the satellite systems since April 2023. Prior to this role, Eiji served as a Sr. Engineer and Constellation Systems Engineer at BlackSky from November 2020 to April 2023, and as a Senior Bus Subsystems Engineer at ASRC Federal for a brief period in 2020. Eiji's expertise includes satellite modeling, gained while working as a Satellite Modeling Engineer at OneWeb during a pivotal time when the company was transitioning to a full constellation. Early engineering experience includes a position at AirSat Engineering from 2017 to 2019. Eiji holds a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, both from Purdue University.
