Younis Allasasmeh has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Younis is currently the Co-founder and Director of StarIC, a role they began in September 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Kapik Integration for seven years as a Mixed-Signal Design Engineer, from October 2012 to September 2019. Younis also briefly worked at Holst Centre as a Design Engineer for seven months in 2012. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Kapik Integration as an Analog Design Engineer and a Design Intern in 2012 and 2010 respectively. Younis gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Guelph's Nano-Electronics Research Lab from 2008 to 2011. Moreover, they served as a Project Intern at Kapik Integration in 2011 and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Guelph from 2008 to 2009. Younis began their professional journey as a Co-op Student Trainee at Umniah Telecommunication in 2006.
Younis Allasasmeh completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunication) from Mu'tah University, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Younis further pursued their higher education and obtained a Master of Applied Science degree in Systems and Computing Engineering from the University of Guelph, studying from 2008 to 2011.
